Crisps maker Frito-Lay is proving that baked Cheetos are not the only innovation up its sleeves with a plan to use LNG-powered trucks to carry its snack products.
The company announced plans to add 67 compressed natural gas-fuelled trucks to its fleet.
Eventually, it hopes to have the majority of its US trucks using CNG. LNG-powered trucks will be added for longer journeys, according to The New York Times’ Wheels blog.
