Finally there is tangible reward for LNG export proponents in the US with Cheniere’s nod to Bechtel to start building what is likely to be the country’s first liquefaction project. Kicking off construction has got to give a huge boost to fellow developers hoping to follow in the Houston developer’s footsteps.
The green light does not knock down one large hurdle, however.
