A landslide hit the ExxonMobil-led PNG LNG project, leading the US supermajor to stop work on the production plant.
The incident took place at 06:00 local time this morning in the Hides area of the project in Papua New Guinea’s South Highlands region.
ExxonMobil spokeswoman Rebecca Arnold told LNG Unlimited that all PNG LNG project staff are accounted for with no confirmed injuries.
