Trunkline LNG’s parent company has selected KBR to carry out pre-front-end engineering and design work on its planned liquefaction project in the US.
Energy Transfer Equity intends to build a three-train, 15 million tonnes per annum export facility at the site of its existing import terminal in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
The developer has also chosen WorleyParsons to provide project management services for the development, according to a filing with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
Trunkline revealed it had sent out bid packages to potential engineering contractors for the pre-FEED work in July.
