Thiess and EV LNG Australia have won a A$500 million (US$539 million) deal to build LNG and condensate storage tanks for the Wheatstone LNG export project.

The EVT joint venture will construct two 150,000 cubic metre full-containment LNG tanks and two 120,000 cubic metre condensate tanks under the contract.

The bulk of the work will take place in Australia and is set to start immediately.
