China’s Kunlun Energy is poised to launch operations in June of the country’s largest liquefaction facility.
The small-scale plant will begin operations with 2 million cubic metres per day of production capacity, or about 500,000 tonnes per annum.
The inland project is the first of at least three inland liquefaction plans that the PetroChina spin-off aims to develop with in-house engineering capabilities, an official told Reuters.
