JGC Corporation, KBR and Chiyoda have signed an engineering, procurement and construction contract for the Ichthys LNG project in Australia.
The so-called JKC joint venture formalised the $15 billion deal with Ichthys LNG developers Inpex and Total. The deal was awarded in January.
The JV will carry out EPC work on the onshore facility and associated infrastructure for the 8.4 million tonnes per annum liquefaction plant at Blaydin Point, Darwin.
