Sempra Energy has agreed to a diversion of 90% of the 60 cargoes it receives from from the Tangguh LNG project to the Indonesian government.

The California utility has to take  3.7 million tonnes per annum at its Energia Costa Azul terminal in Mexico, although half of this is divertible.

However, 54 cargoes from its annual entitlement will now be taken over by the Indonesian government, which aims to sell the volumes on the spot market in May, a BPMigas official told Dow Jones newswires.
