Russia has kicked off marketing for its huge Shtokman LNG project, booking a rash of preliminary supply deals with Indian buyers totalling 7.5 million tonnes per annum.
Gazprom Global LNG, working through its Singapore affiliate Gazprom Marketing & Trading, has signed memoranda of understanding with Petronet LNG, Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation and Gail (India) each covering up to 2.5 million tpa over 25 years.
