Operator Inpex and its partners today sanctioned the Ichthys LNG export project in northern Australia, which carries a price tag of $34 billion.
Mobilisation will kick off immediately and preliminary works will begin “within weeks” on the 8.4 million tonnes per annum liquefaction plant at Blaydin Point, Darwin.
