China Huanqiu Contracting & Engineering Corporation has scored an estimated US$760 million (A$731 million) engineering, procurement and construction contract for LNG Limited’s Fisherman’s Landing project in Australia.
The EPC services and open book conversion deal follows HQCEC’s completion of the front-end engineering and design work for the Gladstone plant in Queensland state.
China National Petroleum Corporation-controlled HQCEC will build one LNG train, a tank and related infrastructure, but will not be responsible for marine works.
