Some half-dozen previously permitted sites for LNG import terminals in the US are being considered for greenfield liquefaction plants.
Contenders include at least two in the Corpus Christi, Texas, area, another between there and Houston, and one on the Sabine River, sources said.
The proposals in some cases involve the developers behind the original import projects while others would focus on selling the site and its permits.
