Cheniere Energy Partners has taken a positive final investment decision on the first two trains of its planned Sabine Pass LNG export project in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.
The outfit’s board of directors approved the construction of the two units, but the sanction decision remains subject to the closing of debt financing and equity investments by Blackstone Energy Partners and Cheniere Partners’ parent Cheniere Energy.
