Eight export credit agencies from at least four countries are expected to back the massive financing package for the Ichthys LNG production project before commercial banks are invited to the party.
Two undisclosed agencies are now expected to join the six that are already in advanced talks to help bankroll operator Inpex’s share of the $34 billion export development, which was sanctioned last year.
