KBR is hoping to start front-end engineering and design studies on train 4 at the Gorgon LNG export project in Western Australia by the year-end. Chief executive William Utt (left) said: “We’re looking forward to starting the FEED on train 4 as early as the latter part of 2012.”
The first liquefaction unit will come online in 2014 with trains 2 and 3 “quickly coming behind that”, he added.
