GE has bagged a $150 million deal for Petronas’ train 9 project at Bintulu, Malaysia.
The deal will see Petronas LNG use the GE Oil & Gas arm's advanced turbocompression technology for the planned 3.6 million tonnes per annum train.
GE, which announced the deal at the World Gas Conference in Kuala Lumpur, will provide the turbocompression equipment and variable speed drive systems for the train.
