General Electric this week unveiled a mini LNG production concept as it announced $1 billion in subcontracts for the Ichthys LNG project.
The US conglomerate’s Micro LNG concept will involve production capacity of 50,000 to 150,000 tonnes per annum.
Subsidiary GE Oil & Gas envisions the design as ideal for replacing diesel and fuel oil use in power generation in remote locations.
