GDF Suez of France is working towards 2017 as the earliest potential start-up for its proposed liquefaction project in Cameroon.
Four companies — Bowleven, Noble Energy, Perenco and Sinopec — have now signed term sheets to supply gas to a plant to be built at Kribi.
The facility will produce between 2.5 million and 3.5 million tonnes per annum, depending on the amount of available gas feedstock.
