Russia's Gazprom is gearing up to sign apreliminarily agreement with Japan’s Itochu and Japan Petroleum Exploration tobuild a liquefaction plant at Vladivostok.

The players are expected to ink the deal during theAsian-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Vladivostok on 8 and 9 September,according to Japan’s Nikkei news agency. 

Head of Japan’s energy agency Ichiro Takahara and Gazpromchief executive Alexey Miller will sign the agreement.
