Gail (India) has signed an agreement with Spain’s GasNatural Fenosa for the supply of 3 billion cubic metres of LNG overthree years.
LNG deliveries are expected to start in January next year.
The two companies signed an additional industrialcooperation agreement with the aim of facilitating joint development projectsin India including those related to infrastructure, gas distribution andwholesale marketing.
Managing director of Gail Shri Tripathi called the supplyagreement “a key milestone in the chapter of Indo-Spanish cooperation”.
