Jordan Cove has shelved plans to launch a bi-directional LNG import-export facility in Oregon and instead is aiming to build a liquefaction-only plant.
The company, which has held permits since 2009 for an import terminal on the north spit of Coos Bay, has commissioned Black & Veatch to carry out front-end engineering on a $5.3 billion, 6 million tonnes per annum export project at the site.
