BG Group and Ophir Energy have made another big natural gas find off the coast of Tanzania, making the emergence of two East African LNG exporting countries ever more likely.
The deep-water Mzia-1 probe in block 1 hit gas and oil, and may hold up to 6 trillion cubic feet of resource. The partners plan further technical work to determine recoverable reserves.
