Freeport LNG has hired Zachry Industrial and CB&I to carry out a front-end engineering and design of its export project.
The company, which is planning to build liquefaction capacity at its eponymous Texas import terminal, said the FEED team will design three trains with 4.4 million tonnes per annum in capacity each.
They will also carry out work on pre-treatment facilities.
Zachry, a construction company whose affiliate Zachry American Infrastructure is a shareholder at Freeport, was part of the engineering, procurement and construction consortium that built the Freeport regas project.
