Four major contracting groups have made it to the starting line for upstream development work on the Arrow LNG project in Queensland, Australia.

WorleyParsons, ­Fluor, Foster Wheeler with SKM Engineering, and Amec with Clough and Beca survived a pre-qualification exercise and have received invitations to tender.

Bids will cover front-end engineering and ­design of the surface ­facilities including wellheads and gas compressors, as well as gathering and water treatment systems.
