Crews at the GLNG project in Australia’s Queensland state have poured first concrete on train 1 compressor foundations.
Operator Santos, which owns a 30% stake in the 7.8 million tonnes per annum project, also said engineering and procurement for the 420-kilometre pipeline is 80% complete. Pipeline contractor Saipem has completed fabrication of 300 kilometres of pipe.
Bulk earthworks are 75% complete and construction of storage tank foundations has started.
