A fire at the Angola LNG plant has pushed back start-up possibly into the fourth quarter.
The blaze has delayed testing of the new 5.2 million tonnes per annum liquefaction facility near Soyo, sources said.
The official line is that a first cargo could be produced by September but insiders are said to have expressed doubts about this timetable.
Angola LNG executives did not respond to requests for comment.
