Kitimat LNG’s shareholders are looking to sell up to 20% of the Canadian export project to off-takers.
The joint venture is seeking one or two LNG buyers, chief executive Randy Eresman said in a Reuters report.
If they sell the full 20%, operator Apache will see its stake reduced from 40% to 32%. Shares owned by Encana and EOG Resources will shrink from 30% to 24% each.
