US regulators have kicked off the scoping process that will guide an environmental impact statement for Cameron LNG’s liquefaction project.
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission this week said it will gather input from the public on the proposed plant, which will help “determine what issues they need to evaluate in the EIS”. The process will run until 4 September.
Cameron LNG is planning a 12 million tonnes per annum project at the site of its existing import terminal in Louisiana.
