Fairstar Heavy Transport won $56 million in deals to carry modules and other equipment for the Ichthys LNG project.
The heavy-lift shipowner won the contracts from the JKC consortium of contractors JGC, KBR and Chiyoda.
The company's 50,000-dwt semi-submersible newbuildings Forte and Finesse will each spend 12 months on the Australian export project beginning in the second quarter of 2014.
The deals include six-month extension options.
