Jordan Cove Energy has launched front-end engineering and design studies for a four-train liquefaction plant on the US West Coast. The project, planned for Coos Bay in Oregon, will add LNG export facilities to a permitted but yet-to-be-built import terminal at the site.

US engineer Black & Veatch is carrying out the liquefaction FEED work after it handled the same job for the regasification element alongside compatriot Kiewit and Vinci and Entrepose of France.
