Italy’s Eni has presented a field development plan to Indonesian authorities for the deep-water Jangkrik field east of Kalimantan that will provide feedstock for Bontang LNG.
The company did not disclose details but said Jangkrik would come on-stream in 2015 “thanks to fast development activity”. Eni owns a 55% operating stake in the Muara Bakau licence containing the field with GDF Suez holding the rest.
