Eni has hiked its estimates of in-place resources off Mozambique by 10 trillion cubic feet.
The Italian oil and gas company now believes it has 40 Tcf of in-place gas after drilling its Mamba North East 1 well in Offshore Area 4 encountered more gas.
Operator Eni holds a 70% stake in Area 4, with partners Galp Energia, Korea Gas and state-owned ENH each controlling 10%.
