The first of two scheduled March LNG deliveries from Libya has been cancelled, confirming a halt of exports from the country’s Marsa El-Brega plant.
Waterborne Energy analyst Charles Martin said terminal and pipeline operator Enagas dropped the delivery from its schedule this week. A delivery due for next week is also seen as unlikely.
Marsa El-Brega, the home of Libya’s only liquefaction project, has seen fierce violence since unrest erupted in the country late last month.
