US terminal owner Kinder Morgan Energy is scouting around for buyers of possible LNG exports out of its Elba Island facility in Georgia.
Speaking at a Barclays Capital energy conference this week, Kinder Morgan president Park Sharper said: “There is the potential to export LNG out of that facility. We are talking with customers.” Earlier this year the terminal’s previous owner Southern LNG, which was acquired by KM, applied for regulatory permission to export 4 million tonnes per annum.
