Egyptian LNG is gearing up to return to full capacity next month after running at 75% for over a year.
The export plant should operate at the full 7.2 million tonnes per annum level following the country’s May presidential elections, Egyptian LNG operations director Ahmed Shehata told Bloomberg.
Egyptian LNG’s Idku plant consists of two liquefaction trains.
Planned maintenance on the units will take place in 2014 and 2015 for 12 days at a time.
