BC LNG Export Co-Operative has signed a long-term off-take deal with an undisclosed player from India covering the first phase of the Douglas Channel LNG project in western Canada.
The so-called backup contract will serve as the opening gambit in a commercial process starting in the coming weeks that will see the LNG Partners and Haisla First Nation-backed venture take nominations from off-taker utilities that are members of the co-operative.
