Indonesia’s Supreme Court has overturned a lower court decision to impose fines on the partners behind the Donggi-Senoro LNG export project in central Sulawesi Province.
Lead shareholder Mitsubishi and partners Pertamina and Medco Energi Internasional were fined 31 billion rupiah ($3.5 million) by the lower court in January 2011 after being found guilty of colluding to ensure the Japanese outfit won the tender to build the plant.
