Japan’s Inpex is working closely with Indonesia’s upstream regulatory body BPMigas as it looks to award front-end engineering and design contracts for the Abadi floating liquefaction development late this year.
Both Inpex and BPMigas officials attending IBC Asia’s FLNG conference in Seoul this week confirmed the award of dual FEED contracts for the production unit and a third contract for the subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines package is on track for the fourth quarter.
