Cyprus is looking to other countries and companies to help secure finance and support for a possible liquefaction plant.
Industry minister Neoklis Sylikiotis told a conference in Athens that the costs of building a liquefaction plant are very high.
“That's why we are seeking a multilateral cooperation with the participation of other important countries, particularly from the region, and also other big energy companies,” he said in a Reuters report.
