Shell, Nexus Energy and Osaka Gas are close to finalising a new joint venture that aims to pursue floating liquefaction in the Cruz gas field.
The trio are awaiting final board approval after finalising the main documentation to consolidate their interests in the AC/L9 block.
The group extended the timing to complete their documents at the end of May to enable them to “explore additional development options”, which include a new FLNG facility in the Cruz field.
