Taiwan’s CPC Corporation is in talks with Woodside Petroleum to buy into the Browse LNG export project planned for Western Australia.
The state-owned oil refiner and lone LNG importer may purchase a stake of less than 10%, a spokesman told Bloomberg.
Woodside last month revealed it is looking to sell off a minority portion of its holding, citing significant interest from a number of parties.
