ConocoPhillips said rising LNG prices were a key boost to exploration and production profits in the fourth quarter.
The US supermajor reported adjusted E&P earnings of nearly $2.44 billion, up from $1.85 billion in the same quarter of 2010.
Crude prices also contributed to the increase.
