Charif Souki-led Cheniere Energy is calling for regulators to dismiss the Sierra Club environmental group’s intervention in the Sabine Pass LNG export development.
The Sabine Pass operator argues that the Sierra Club filed its opposition to the scheme too late.
According to the outfit, Sierra Club’s filing was made “11 months beyond the intervention deadline of March 4, 2011 and approximately 15 months after Sierra Club’s public acknowledgement of the project”.
