Cheniere Energy has signed a deal with Total which has laid the foundations for a potential fifth liquefaction train at the Sabine Pass export project in the US.
Subsidiary Sabine Pass Liquefaction has entered into a partial assignment agreement with Total to allow the project developer to gradually gain access to the French portfolio player’s send-out capacity at the existing Sabine Pass import terminal.
