Qatar Petroleum and Centrica have forged a preliminary agreement that will see them cooperate on energy investments.
The memorandum of understanding could see QP, which controls Qatari producers RasGas and Qatargas, and the UK-based gas and power player work together on an LNG project, among other potential collaborations in the upstream oil and gas sector.
Qatar Petroleum will work with Centrica through its Qatar Petroleum International subsidiary, an investment arm.
