CB&I expects to negotiate rather than bid its way into a contract to build the Novatek-led Yamal LNG project in Russia after the US giant completes early engineering.
“As Novatek is moving forward with the project, we are optimistic that we will be following on with additional work for the same client,” CB&I chief operating officer Lasse Petersen said during an earnings call this week.
