Canada’s Natural Resources Minister Joe Oliver this week urged Japan to consider energy trade with a focus on LNG.During a visit to a Japanese conference, Oliver said his country has the potential to export 9 billion cubic feet per day of LNG to Asia via five proposed facilities on the west coast.The minister also met with government officials and industry leaders “to strengthen investment, innovation and partnerships with Canada in the natural resource sectors”, according to a statement from the ministry.
