Australian regulators have given Woodside more time to sanction its Browse LNG project in the country’s west.
The export project now must be ready for a final investment decision in the first half of 2013 under the new deadline approved by Resources and Energy Minister Martin Ferguson.
Western Australia state Mines and Petroleum Minister Norman Moore also signed off on the new timeline.
