GDF Suez aims to take floating LNG production beyond its planned Bonaparte project off Australia, writes Lucy Hine.
Speaking to LNG Unlimited this month, global gas and LNG executive vice president Jean Marie Dauger said that while the eventual capacity of the Bonaparte floater will be reserves driven, it will also reflect the company’s future FLNG ambitions.
“In particular, we are trying to find a size that gives us sufficient scale for developing this technology somewhere else.”
