BG Group has pulled out of the planned Olakola LNG production project in Nigeria.
A company spokesman said the decision was part of constant reviews of BG’s LNG portfolio.
The company’s 14.25% stake will either go to existing shareholders or new investors, a Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation spokesman told local media.
Government-owned NNPC holds 46.75% of the so-called OK LNG project with supermajors Shell and Chevron on 19.5%
